About Us
A few elderly people of this area came together and started to think and reflect the dynamics of the people around them. They could see that there are sick, bedridden and old people in our villages. They are facing different types of problems of care and cure. Also there are talented children who are not able to nurture their inborn art and cultural talents by providing a special professional teacher. So, we thought to enlighten their lives through our presence and sharing.
With this aim, we have registered a Charitable Trust namely, Koovapoika TASK (Think, Analyze, Share and Kindle) Charitable Trust. Koovapoika TASK Charitable Trust is an initiative of kind-hearted people at Koovapoika who came together to do charitable work. They THINK and ANALYSE the situations, problems and issues of their communities and SHARE their capacity to KINDLE a new horizon in their living area.

Pallimed Palliative Care, a home centered palliative care movement instituted on behalf of Koovapoika TASK Charitable Trust with the ardent support rendered by the civil society of the region, local self government bodies and cooperative banks. We offer palliative home care services free of cost under the brand name Pallimed.
Together, as a community, we can ensure no patient suffers alone—support Pallimed Palliative Care and keep our free home-care services alive.
